As part of the Development Platform Team, you will shape the future of the development environment for over 200 developers. You will develop self-services and platform solutions that enable teams to focus on their core competencies. Imagine building the best workshop in town – not for cars, but for developers. Your "customers" are over 200 software developers who tackle highly complex tasks daily. Your mission is to provide them with cutting-edge "tools" in the form of self-services and platform solutions, allowing them to focus on their core tasks. The goal: Accelerating digital transformation through efficient IT tools.

Your responsibilities as Senior Platform Engineer (m/f/d) Development Platform:

• Conception and establishment of a "best-in-class developer workshop" through self-service solutions
• Design and implementation of cloud-native platform services
• Development of scalable solutions for hundreds of "customers" (developers)
• Optimization of developer experience through innovative platform services
• Consulting and technical leadership – you're the expert who knows which "tool" is best suited for each task
• Close collaboration with development teams for continuous service improvement

Your qualifications:

• Completed degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in Platform Engineering or DevOps
• In-depth knowledge of AWS and Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform)
• Strong expertise in container technologies and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab
• Ability to not only implement technical solutions but also think strategically and evaluate different options
• You think beyond individual solutions and focus on scalable systems
• You understand that there are often multiple paths to a goal and can select the best option for each context
• You have an intuition for making complex technical infrastructure user-friendly
