Our client is a leading global cybersecurity company specializing in monitoring, detecting and responding on technical security incidents and providing global 24/7 SOC operations.
In the position of SOC Lead (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the operations of the Security Operation Center and act as the final expert authority for your team members in resolving complex issues. In addition, you will be responsible for achieving service level targets, prioritizing shift activities and ensuring a smooth handover to other SOC teams following the follow-the-sun model.
Your tasks as SOC Lead (m/f/d):
Management of daily escalations, shift handover and operations in the Security Operation Center
Responsibility regarding compliance with SLOs and the development and improvement of metrics for measurability
Function as technical lead in the assessment and resolution of complex security incidents
Collaborate with other SOC Leads on a global level
Communication with contact persons of customers and internal departments
What you bring:
Several years of experience within a Security Operation Center (SOC) or Network Operation Center (NOC) with appropriate security related experience in a senior or lead role
Strong knowledge of industry recognized frameworks and methodologies such as MITRE ATT&CK, CIS, NIST, ISO or PCI-DSS
Ideally certifications such as ISO/IEC 27035 Lead Incident Manager or SANS 508
Very good ability to abstract in order to be able to communicate business-relevant risks to a non-technical counterpart, even in the case of complex issues
Organizational talent – even in difficult situations you keep the overview and find successful solutions
Excellent communication skills in an international environment
Fluency in English, fluency in German is a big plus
